The Hut

The little hut, under the big oak tree, is the heart of the centre. It provides a warm space, with facilities for arts and crafts, classroom based learning and refreshment breaks.

Beyond this, the centre also has a compost toilet, tie up area for horse activities, paddocks for turn out and a menage.

There is also a dedicated space for a small nature pond, vegetable patches and a fire pit area with cooking equipment. All of these projects have been initiated and managed by clients, and other projects are always welcome.

The space is also available for hire to other professionals/individuals who would like to deliver wellbeing focussed sessions, in a variety of formats, in a natural environment. Please get in contact to discuss what you are looking for.

The Team

The Horses

Daisy

Daisy (back right) is a 15.2hh Dutch Warmblood x Irish Sport Horse mare. She is 13 years old and has been with the group since 2019. She loves a game and a groom.

Sherman

Sherman (back left) is a 14.3hh Cob gelding. He is 18 years old, and has been with the group since 2021. He is the "grandfather figure" of the group, creating a safe herd environment for all of them.

Brandy

Brandy (front right) is a 11hh Welsh Section A pony. He is 17 years old and has been with the group since 2019, moving from another centre for a quieter life.

Dolly

Dolly (front left) is an 8hh Shetland pony. She is 6 years old, and has only been at the centre since the beginning of 2023. She is still young and is being allowed to learn slowly how to be a member of the team.

The Dogs

Deggi

Deggi (right) is a liver and white Springer x Cocker Spaniel. He has just turned 2 years old and is at his happiest when chasing a ball around the farm or following the horses on a walk.

Khola

Khola (left) is a blue roan Cocker Spaniel and is currently around 10 months old. He spends most of his time chasing anything that moves (leaves, birds in the sky) .

Both dogs are full of energy and love welcoming new and returning clients to the centre.
